Open Access Clothing Program - Homewood

The Open Access Clothing Closet Program was established in 2014 at the
expressed need of leaders in the underserved community. The Clothing Closet
gives away gently used clothing, toiletries, toys, and other essential items to those
individuals who need it most. All items in the Clothing Closet are FREE to
members of the community. 

Open Access Clothing Program in Homewood is looking for help to sort donations. Times and Dates are flexible. Please contact Rebekah Thompson - bekah32481@gmail.com

Phil's Friends - Crown Point

Phil’s Friends is a Christian nonprofit organization founded by two-time cancer survivor Phil Zielke. We are committed to bringing support and hope to those affected by cancer in the United States. We reach out through care packages, offer ongoing support through our Cards of Hope program, and spiritual support by way of prayer.

Cadette, Senior & Ambassadors Service Bars

Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who are passionate about giving back can earn service bars. The Community Service Bar and the Service to Girl Scouting Bar each require a minimum of 20 hours of service to one organization or Girl Scout activity/troop.

Community Service Bar

  • Choose an organization to help.
  • The organization will need to agree to give you instructions about the work you'll be doing. 
  • Get council approval. 
  • Complete at least 20 hours of service.
  • Track your time with this form. Submit a final report.
  • Complete this online form to report your service.
